Tropical Party
Awash with Flowers
Friday, August 28, 2009

Ok, so I am full of blog posts today! I think I am crediting this to only having one child at home schooling this year! This is another sample project for tonight. We are making the same basket we did last month with a "twist". This is a new set in our Holiday Mini as well as the Sweet Treat Cups. They are so Fun!

I am soooo excited about these new Build a Bear die cuts for the Big Shot. I saw someone's post on making magnets with them the other day. She used magnet paint on chipboard. I decided to make them using magnet sheets and WOW they are so easy! We are doing them tonight in our workshop. The choices are endless!!!

New Catalog Products

I made this card using our new products. We will be doing this in our next workshop. Fun new DSP Thoroughly Modern & Razzleberry Lemonade. The new In Color Razzleberry paper and Peace Within stamp set. I used most of the new In Color Ink Pads and a blender pen. Last but not least, our new 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon. Super easy and fun!

Easter Basket

This was a fun little project! I got the basket idea from Kay's website and I used the new mini catalog stamp set "Wagon Full of Fun" and what a fun stamp set it is! The possibilities are endless. The basket is made from the Big Shot box #2 and the new scallop oval punch. I did a fun design all the way around the box.

I made these valentine treats for our women's Bible Study today. I got the conversation heart idea from Julia Bettencourt's website. I used DSP to wrap Hershey Bars, Pink Pirouette grosgrain ribbon and the new Full Heart punch. It was fun taking the traditional valentine candies and making them scriptural.Saturday, January 31, 2009

For those of you who missed last nights workshop, here is a preview of what we did. This first project is from the "Love You much" stamp set. The papers were Chocolate Chip and Candy Lane DSP. The ink color is Riding Hood Red. The Yummy candy was from See's Candies! We also used the new Texture Background plates. We also did this fun and easy card using the same DSP and the new Heart to Heart Punch.
